Slowly…On the Move

The baby amazinging managed to push himself up onto all fours today!  He really worked at it and for about an hour he tried manuveuring himself around the floor of his room.   This bottom picture was a re-enactment.  Not the real thing.  🙁

This bottom picture kinda shows his two bottom teeth.  None of the others have sprouted yet.

And for a quick, but final update…NO INTERNET YET!!  I’m yet again in the parking lot, this time of the Best Western.  I need to get home, bc I’ve been here for a few hours.  🙁  The cable dude said that they can’t connect us either…so our only option is, like Daniel said, dial-up or satellite.  Any suggestions?

  1. Wait, if Best Western can get it, why can’t you?I say Satellite. Dial-up is so painful. There’s one where you can get service as long as you get a clear view of some part of the sky (eastern? western? southern? northern?) I can’t believe he’s getting so big. And sprouting teeth. Sigh.

  2. Judy, when I stayed at that house when I was canvassing, I think they had cable internet. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be able to hook you up…..Now that I’m thinking about it more, maybe they had dial-up. I can’t remember. Either way, they were hooked up somehow. Imanuel’s teeth are super obvious now! It’s crazy how fast they come in. Those two pictures are so adorable. He looks older every time you post new pictures. 🙂

  3. oh my… babay is growing up sooo fast. toooo fast. i’m so sad that you guys are going to be further away from jensa… we can no longer visit MI in one shot… and see you guys, BABY, jensa and justin all at once. so sad.keep posting pics… cause every other day he is looking like one of you more… in these pics daddy dearest is def. the winner. haha ^_^

  4. how about high spd wireless providers like verizon/sprint?  since you’re in the car and using, i’d assume a laptop computer.  they have wireless cards that plug into the laptop and give you relatively high spd internet whereever you go.  but it all depends on reception capability….might be worth looking into.

  5. of those two options, go with satellite. otherwise, blg_gUy23 had a good idea with high speed wireless with sprint (or virizon if you have that). i know some people that do that. or, just continue going to bester western and enjoy the free services they provide your family!

  6. Way to get in pouncing position, my little Manny.  Please stay in this position for the next 3-4 years as I cannot bear the thought of you walking.  See Aunt Kendra:  not blinking b/c she can’t miss a THING.  Missing you, mi Ramosito adorable y sus padres…

  7. Hey guys, Jon said that if you have cingular or sprint cell phone service, maybe verizon…you can pay extra to have pc card in laptop…similar to DSL. Chester would know more since he gets it in the sticks of AR! You could call him if you need more info! Good luck. I couldn’t live without internet!

  8. Go with satellite. But you know, don’t think that it’s only isolated places like the UP that don’t have good internet options. My family in Berrien has had nothing but dialup, EVER. The phone companies even put DSL in the subdivision up the road, but they wouldn’t think of letting us have access… for whatever reason…

  9. ah, you guys almost sound like evangelists – bouncing off other peoples high speed access and the constand fear of using the dreaded dial up connections. I use a Verizon boardband wireless card. its ok. in big cities you get broadband speeds but in most of the country you get a speed that is a little faster than dial up. It costs $60 per month which admittedly is high, but you have the convenienvce of being able to use it anywhere you get a verizon signal [prety much everywhere].Alternatively, forget the internet at home and use it once a week at the local library.

  10. Pictures of baby Imanuel make me smile…=)He really is SUCH a precious little thing!!!!Sounds like you all are enjoying your new adventure up there despite no internet. 😉

Judy will you be coming with Israel for ministerial meetings on Nov. 14? I look forward to seeing you!
